CEPPS Countering Disinformation Guide Launch

SHARE

On April 28th, 2021, the Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS) launched the Countering Disinformation Guide, created in partnership by the CEPPS core partners: the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the International Republican Institute (IRI), and the National Democratic Institute (NDI).  The guide was created with funding from USAID through the Global Elections and Political Transitions Award for use by practitioners, donors, political leaders, and civil society organizations around the world, to highlight the work being done to counter disinformation and promote information integrity. This first-of-its-kind resource includes a global database of organizations, projects, and donors working on and supporting these efforts.  The event featured members of the three CEPPS core partners discussing key sections of the guide, the intervention database, and methods to counter disinformation from the perspectives of partners around the world.
